How I'm coping with the situation in Israel:
building a Lego B-2 bomber as a weekend project based on a few pictures and available parts 🤷‍♂️

Getting the canopy right (yeah, I know there is no canopy in the real thing...) took about as much time as all the rest of the superstructure.

I haven't touched React in eight years and never will again, but if you use React and especially Next.js, this is a fantastic article.

Lots of alternatives available.

"Black Sabbath: The Long October 7 and Global Disorder in the Post-American World" will be the most anticipated book of 2026. An instant bestseller by a top global affairs commentator without regional expertise, it will get glowing reviews but require a rewrite before the paperback is issued in 2027

So are you accusing us of g9g?
Can we stop doing this for the sake of the newbies? o11y, a11y, a16z, k8s... This all seems like someone is trying to summon cloud hosting demon.

Soon, the full guide (in three parts + nice video) would be live 🙂

I don't get it.

So now, instead of a public dataset (that many individuals wanting to build things for the benefit of the community could use) -
you'd only have ten thousand private datasets by those who are motivated enough to capture them for their own purposes. Big win... NOT.
First dataset for the new @huggingface.bsky.social @bsky.app community organisation: one-million-bluesky-posts 🦋

📊 1M public posts from Bluesky's firehose API
🔍 Includes text, metadata, and language predictions
🔬 Perfect to experiment with using ML for Bluesky 🤗

Darn, this #totoro miniature was harder to make than it seemed on the box! (and it seemed hard enough...)

I really needed to channel my inner Japanese-level patience for that.

Very hard to pass the vibe from #echigotsumari art triennale in a few photos (or many). But if that piques someone's interest, that's a start ✌️

Please don't write any more posts,
my personal MacBook M2 Pro laptop can only embed the text of about ~160 posts/second with jina-clip-v1 😀

A few years back I was looking at web tooling stats, and noted a periodic drop in searches even for popular libraries (ehm... React).
This maps well to the xmas/holiday season - in some countries more than others ofc. In other words, it's either Jingle Bells or React! #react #xmas 😊

I can trace my interest in Japan to a specific print issue of Wired magazine from September 2001. I read a few, but this one would steer part of my life. Re-reading William Gibson's (author of Neuromancer) article feels oddly familiar even now.
