Nach einer Protestaktion im Süden der Türkei gegen die Angriffe der HTS auf Rojava wurde der 24-jährige Baran Abdi aus Kobanê bei einem bewaffneten Angriff eines MHP-Anhängers getötet. Er war 2014 als Kind mit seiner Familie vor dem IS in die Türkei geflohen.

Truppen des neuen syrischen Regimes greifen derzeit Gebiete der demokratischen Selbstverwaltung an. In Dair Hafir als auch im Umfeld des Tishrin-Staudammes kommt es zu Bombardements, Um Tishrin hatte es schon vor einem Jahr massive Kämpfe gegeben. Wenn es so weiter geht, gibt es einen großen Krieg.
