re Arenvald I have strong, negative feelings about the fact they disabled him and then promptly wrote him out of MSQ for good
(I know, feasibly, that they were done tying up Ala Mhigo points in ShB patches; I know they gave him some good time in EW healer quests. Doesn't change their timing at all)

arenvald is my favourite b-team scion of all time and i have mixed feelings about his disability post paglth’an. i want more of him, more genuine acknowledgment of how his disability impacts him, and how said disability does not stop him from being an integral figure to ala mhigo and the story.

And yes I did cry my way through red memory the music and the love hornet's moms hold for her gets me so fucking bad every single time (this is a game about mothers and daughters and I am destroyed)

I have learned you cannot avoid the claw if you are stood right side of GMS. Ask me how I know (screams I've spent four hours in the last 24 failing at this fight)

If I can make it to second phase with more than two health I usually come pretty close to beating her. The problem is getting to second phase with six or seven health has happened precisely twice in probably forty attempts rip

XIV is my continuous ongoing time sink that gives me a sense of normality. I can do as little or as much as I want in a day, travel, level, explore, MSQ replay. It's the only MMO, the other is playing Overwatch

I do not trust Alphinaud to heal and will not bring him if I have any other option. Alisaie and G'raha love to kill me in the last 10% of a fight by coming to stand in my safe spot during a mechanic when they have one miles closer to where they are. :')
#wolqotd do you (and by extension your oc) have any beef with the duty support NPCs? Do any always do what you want? Tell me how the game programming gets to you I want to know.
