Today, the gospel of Christ was spoken as John the Baptist spoke to Herod. Today, the Right Rev. Marian Edgar Budde looked into the face of a president and spoke to truth with the courage of a gladiator who defied an emperor. May we all find a portion of her courage.

Does he know that loving your neighbor is in the Bible?! I’m not religious but pretty sure Jesus wouldn’t be building walls, separating children from their parents, or constantly insulting people.
Imagine watching that sermon and thinking it was "nasty." We elected a man who thinks mercy has no place in a house of worship. God help us.
