If every person who attended the #NoKings protest signed up for a general strike we would have enough people to make one effective. It only takes %3.5 of the population to be effective, and that equals out to about 11mil, the number of ppl who attended nationwide

I agree that media corps aren’t reliable sources of (mostly)objective news and that independent sources r the way to go: but I wish all the popular independent sources I hear about weren’t all helmed by white men…w/o diverse sources of news we’ll only ever see it from the yt/male bias, uncontested

Glad I got vaccines updated yesterday. Still need to get the terrible Tetanus one updated tho. Not looking forward to that painful exp 😓 hate that one. Glad it’s only needed every 10yrs

I haven’t missed not watching anything on streaming services really, which kinda surprised me? I only have YouTube and AppleTV (bc it came with an IPad purchase), so I get to watch Severance which is the only thing I think I’d be sad to miss out on. But nothing else, kinda been nice

I hope more people realize that when you’re facing fascism there is absolutely NO POINT in appealing to a fascist’s, or someone who bought into fascism wholesale’s, morality. It’s going to encourage hundreds of thousands to be thankful to Trump, which is absolute BS considering he wanted to ban the app in the first place.
