.... If you have a wound, you can only put plasters over it for so long... then you get long term damage (which takes longer to solve , if it's solvable)
Next Tuesday, we will have a new Story of Facilitating Software Architecture & Design. Until then, you can check out our latest story on Governance, where @roundcrisis.com shares her story. Find us on YouTube, every major podcast platform and our own website as a blog post: buff.ly/kixklbb

I missed this when you first posted it but this is the kind of development I feel motivated to fight for 😭
Write code to make being human easier. Rip code out if it makes being human harder. Write code to make caring for each other easier. Rip it out if it makes caring for each other harder.

Empathy driven development has literally never failed me. It’s done me better than everything else combined

The talk by @trond.hjorteland.com just finished and it left me feeling full of curiosity and things I want to learn more about.
I really enjoyed that he talked about systems in terms of teams, forests, open and closed, philosophy , Ackhoff, Meadows and so much more

Our 5th episode was @roundcrisis.com sharing a story on governance and decisions being reversed by management, which can lead to burnout and distrust....
An incident decision is reverted, causing team frustration. Our new story explores the socio-technical fallout of post-incident governance and how to build trust through clearer processes and supportive leadership.

Very much looking forward to @trond.hjorteland.com joining us at @virtualddd.com
We've scheduled a new session on a common challenge: seeing the whole system beyond our own part. Trond Hjorteland will introduce systems thinking to help us gain a holistic perspective on complexity.

You want teams to take architectural decisions by facilitating but you are struck with silence or indecision. That was the story @roundcrisis.com and @andrewhl.bsky.social talked about in our latest Story on Facilitating Software Architecture & Design.

Special thanks to @paulrayner.bsky.social for feedback and advice the night before this one! @dddeu.bsky.social #systemsthinking
In this talk Chris Simon will demonstrate the building of a range of causal feedback loops to visualise the underlying causes of the problems. With such visualisations we can advocate for the practices of technical excellence:

also for some: Why are board hard to find? I should find it in my browser's history??? (I'm looking at you Miro)
