I saw someone using a contact mic to record the sound of the movement of a Slinky spring coil.
I had a go with a Korg contact mic and this was the result. I think it sounds a bit like Space Invaders.

I had some fun today making a binaural stereo recording of pigeons and trains at Newton Abbot Quay. I separately added some electromagnetic wave sounds and applied a bit of the fantastic iOS app Ringotron to that. Best with 🎧. #ringotron #iosmusic #newtonabbot
