Really nice day. Organized half the garage, cleaned up lots. Dad has his work space back. There was a dead rat in the trap but otherwise all went well (yuck). All the sketch paper is cut and stored. Vigil tonight was wonderful, not crowded. Lent is coming. #grateful #artist

I'm doing a read-the-bible-in-one-year thing (Orthodox Study Bible) and listening to it online. Leviticus before bed isn't a great idea. 'Take the fat and entrails and sprinkle the blood and put the kidneys over here, burn it up and.." I feel nauseous already.

Ok, here is something very funny. My dad saved these sketches I did as a teenager. The moccasins were mine. The other shoes must have belonged to classmates.
The recognition thing was for a gifted program but they didn't accept me. The hell with them! 🤣

Two watercolours of hellebore in a bowl of water from a while ago. I love hellebores but as they hang their heads if put in a vase they are difficult to paint, but putting them in a bowl worked admirably.
