It was a hat-trick today!

Three over-height trucks have had to back out of Storrow Drive before hitting a bridge today.

When Pie Town got a post office, the government wanted to change the name, but locals responded that they would prefer to go without a post office than to change the name, so it is Pie Town to this day...with a post office (and pie).

By 1884, Kelly had banks, churches, saloons, a clinic, and several mercantile stores. Magdalena was established 3 miles north as the AT & SF Railway terminus to haul away the ore from Kelly's mines. The last residents of Kelly departed in 1947. Most structures were hauled to Magdalena. #NewMexico
