I bought some new pencils and I needed to justify the purchases. I thought I would do some quick gesture drawings, so of course I pulled out a reference photo from my collection and the gestures became details and three hours with a parrot on my shoulder.

I have to have it DNA tested but its name is Fiyero either way ā¤ļø š I already have an Elphaba, sheās a green red-crowned kakariki I got last summer who loves to fly around and is not wicked at all šā¤ļøš

My new little lovebird is a great cuddler! I still havenāt picked a name for him/her š¤ Their beak looks like a crab claw, but I also adore their happy orange and yellow colors. Themes?

My next playing opportunity is booked: Eb clarinet with the Virginia Grand Military Band on March 22. Iām also playing the joint portion with the Allentown Band from PA, the oldest community band in the United States.
