I’ll say this: I genuinely feel really sorry for Hakeem Jeffries. I think he firmly believes in all he says and I think he believes he’s doing the best he can. Poor chap. Instead, he’s tired, weak and ineffective. Politically, he’s almost a nonentity. The Democrats need ANYONE better than this.
Hakeem Jeffries talking in inarticulate circles on the Last Word tonight clearly demonstrates the need for new Dem leadership. We have the bench strength in the party to do so much better. We need strong messaging, a compelling plan and leaders able to inspire.
