During the Satanic panic of the 80s, Ozzy was the sensible, safer alternative to bathshit crazy evangelical parenting. Anti-war, critical of capitalism, and a dad that showed up. #Ozzy was a #deconstruction icon. The "Prince of Darkness" was more christ-like than any mega church preacher.

"We're going to find out what happened and do what it takes to make sure it never happens again. Our hearts go out to the victims and their families for this tragic loss," was all that needed to be said about Flight 587. THAT is Presidential.

But no, here comes some old turd blaming black people.

If it exists you can refine it — but it must exist first. Make the sketch. Combine the ingredients. Try the routine. Be not deterred.

You can make it perfect faster with the experience gained.

An older #abstract from when I first started. A Reflections off a #Chicago skyline, named "untitled effort." Related #poem "untitled effort," beside. A day that signaled the death of a relationship, but was the birthplace of art.

Those looking for topical fiction during these funky times should check out After the Revolution by @iwriteok.bsky.social. Also, play Cyberpunk 2077. It'll be good tears and good therapy. Dystopian fiction was supposed to be a warning, not a mirror. Here we are.
