I don't understand why people use genAI music for videos. There's years of royalty free or CC music available from musicians who want to be heard, and they sound infinitely better. There isn't a lack of music to use.

I saw a take about how AI haters only have "moralistic arguments" like how training data is stolen and the environmental impacts, and I gotta say we're so cooked as a society if we're devaluing morality like this

This isn't even about me hating tech. The industry getting obsessed with a new stupid growth doodad every few years is wasteful and antithetical to building good tech that helps people. I don't even know if the bubble bursting stops this, but it has a shot
