Asking this seriously: has Bari Weiss ever in her career reported out an investigative story?

We are a secular nation that allows its citizens to be Christian. That is the only way that it is going to go.

Thank goodness the NFL added that 17th game. I’m ready for the playoffs. Let’s get on with it.

What kind of a moron advocates for getting rid of PBS?
Arkansas will become the first state to lose PBS.

The state-wide network will switch to local programming in 2026 — after a vote by a board appointed by Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders.

"We want our states in the driver’s seat when it comes to educational television"

RIP, Arkansas PBS - Arkansas Times
The end of federal funding for public media demolishes Arkansas PBS. The station will rebrand as ATV and feature mainly local programming.

I am not the only one interested in James Madison at Oregon in the college football playoff. The game airs on the TNT cable television network and TruTV in prime time.

From time to time the SEC Network looks like a public access channel. It’s part of the charm.

They actually thought that they could poach Alabama’s football coach.

Kalen DeBoer to Michigan is a ridiculously out of touch idea.

The NBA Cup final airs on Amazon Prime exclusively. If one is not subscribed to that, then why watch any of it?

Nike employees are fooling around again, putting “States” on USMNT apparel as if we’re still under the Articles of Confederation.

Portland Breakfast from Smith Teamaker is an excellent mix of three black teas. I recommend it. Go get some.

One of many Cambridge street watercolours I did 30-40 years ago. Working on the spot uniquely preserves memories and feelings. The shop signs at that time in Green St were extravagantly beautiful and the passers by were sketched in quickly. Still have this one.

I have to admit that the 12-team college football playoff has turned out more interesting than I expected.

Fair point.
I used not to watch the World Cup because I’m not very interested in football. Next time I won’t watch it because I’m totally nauseated by FIFA

Well, I’m definitely watching Saturday Night Live this week.

One equivalent to HGTV is MTV’s Pimp My Ride. The idea of restoration is not a consideration with this kind of media. Restoration should be promoted over renovation for the sake of renovation.

Oh, Once Upon a Time … in Hollywood. But Quentin Tarantino isn’t going to list his own films. I will list it.
Tarantino missed Gravity, Oppenheimer and La La Land among others.
Quentin Tarantino says 'There Will Be Blood' had a chance to be his greatest film of the 21st century if it didnt have Paul Dano in it

"it’s supposed to be a two-hander, but ... [Dano] is weak sauce, man ... He’s just such a weak, weak, uninteresting guy. The weakest fucking actor in SAG [laughs]"
