This is why I'm not buying American or going to the US and why I think *every* Canadian should do the same. It's not a hard choice. You take so much for granted yet it doesnt have any actual value to you if you're risking losing it all. So, so stupid. This isn't a US problem. IT IS OURS TOO.

Had the priest in yesterday to perform Last Rites, it was probably one of the hardest things in this last month and a bit of endless hard things, but it was also weirdly comforting as dad was alert, following along, and even remembered the words to the prayers involved.

I'm not okay. This is my dad's last world series. The run was so special. The Blue Jays were meant to bring that trophy home.
