Every day, I meet with Dev Rels across the industry. Many struggle to see their impact, questioning if what they do even matters.
most developer marketing fails because it tries to sell before it builds trust.

I'm fine-tuning an image model to create mnemonics for Hiragana characters. Creating images with precise Japanese character outlines that align with the image is a tough challenge. I often see random Asian characters nearby, but not the specific letter I prompted. Any tips?

Are there any Discord servers for people who are fine-tuning image generation models or LLMs and sharing advice?

The new Developer Report for the Web3 ecosystem is out!

We are actually working on our own AI Developer State Report and I'm going to share soon how it will look like. There is also going to be a survey but the main part is analyzing the open source activity.

It took me a long time to figure out how to test product ideas but I think I quite literally perfected the process. I do not start building the product before doing this unless I need the product myself and do it for fun.

GitHub Copilot Extensions will make it possible for dev tools to fine-tune their own agents with their latest documentation and quality codebases. I think this is a game changer, and if other IDEs like Cursor can't add those extensions to their platforms, VSCode will win the race.

Trying to power through my reading list before the year's out! Just finished a great read about how Steve Jobs masterfully sold his vision and his products. I think it's so fantastic that I'm going to share my notes.

Gemini 2.0 for games could be a real game-changer, especially if it integrates the latest metabuilds. In Leauge of legends, for example, it might guide you on when to push your lane, enhance map awareness, and offer real-time strategic insights.

I don’t get why people are saying Willow is impacting simulation theory. The boundaries of what can be computationally simulated just expanded significantly, as I understand it. That doesn’t mean at all that the theory has been disproven.

My experience with this platform:

- Surrounded by Bluesky analytics tool sellers.
- All the content I hated on X is pretty much gone.
- Missing liked content on X, we are still missing a lot of ppl.
- Love the customizable algorithm for my feed.
- Excited for people to build their own clients.

Dev Rel exists because traditional marketing has often struggled to effectively engage with developer communities. It’s always interesting to see some marketing teams repeatedly making the same mistakes without learning from them.

I see everyone at the forefront of model development noticing progress slowing down. OpenAI's rapid model releases seem aimed only at short-term gains.
After extensive testing of both aistudio.google.com and OpenAI's new $200 o1, I must say... Google is starting to become the more favorable choice—especially since it’s free.

The API access for Googles AI has also significantly improved, just 3 clicks.

Having done both, I respect indie entrepreneurs’ grit and creativity. But the anti-VC narrative often feels driven by first-time founders who’ve faced challenges and are the loudest in the room.
