What a great experience! Ado’s vocals are even more incredible live, the visuals were stunning and what she talked of gave me a lot to think about as a fellow creative myself.

This is so utterly disappointing. Celebrating the bright and talented future of our industry was one of the biggest highlights of TGA and it's just gone like that.
EXCLUSIVE on @gamedeveloper.bsky.social: not only has The Game Awards not nominated a Future Class for 2025, it's told alumni it "does not have any active programming plans" for the award.
The Future Class page was taken down sometime this year—eliminating a definitive archive of honorees.

Non-US folks should really do this survey, the last question is about whether you’ve cancelled travel plans to the US or are reconsidering travel plans due to current policies. GDC needs to know this, maybe some talks could go online live with enough feedback? Maybe they could even lobby? Who knows!
