Beautiful morning today in Paris. L’Arc de Triomphe from Avenue Carnot.

The Friday market in Foix, Ariège, France. Not the biggest market in the southwest, but a charming one. It’s in two places in town. Here is the part by the Abbatiale Saint-Volusien. I try to visit every time I come to Foix to see my friend.

It heads to the Art Institute of Chicago and the Getty next. Detail from “Partie de Bateau” from 1877.
Caillebotte was also a major collector; his legacy formed the core of the Musée d’Orsay’s collection.
