#rockcod (Lindbergichthys nudifrons) nesting behavior more complicated than expected:

GOOD NEWS: A federal judge has ruled that Revolution Wind, a 700 MW offshore wind farm currently under construction in New England, can resume operations after the Trump admin attempted halted the leases of several offshore wind farms to please the fossil fuel industry late last year.

The reason we lost is because conservatives pointed out that you all were part of the democratic party, losing the democratic party not only a not so small amount of funding but also losing a significant part of the Jewish vote in that election. Not to mention a small amount of Muslims trusted Trump
January 13, 2026 at 9:15 AM
You know that's not the reason they were rejected. I'm sure there were actual people opposing genocide in Gaza within that group that were none the wiser. However, it was anti-semitic groups at the time that led the charge and a not so small amount of people blindly following that anti-semitism.
January 13, 2026 at 9:09 AM
No calculated. We're not allowing anti-semitic people a platform in the democratic party, and that's final. We can condemn Israel's atrocities in Gaza without all of that. I refuse to ally with anti-semitism.
January 13, 2026 at 2:39 AM
No because your movement had heavy damn anti-semitism. That's like the Republican party endorsing groypers despite them being heavily racist and anti-semitic. Supporting your movement at the time, could have also lead to giving anti-semitism a platform in the democratic party.
January 13, 2026 at 2:37 AM
Oh but it is, democrats would have definitely picked it up if they didn't see the not so small amount of anti-semitic belief mixed into the same movement. Y'all jeopardized anyone wanting to condemn Israel's genocide. Anyone who came out at that point would be considered endorsing anti-semitism.
January 13, 2026 at 2:31 AM
I simply mentioned two things that aren't mutually exclusive and explained why your movement didn't gain traction. Because people in your movement refused to condemn harassment of Jewish professors and students, anyone that would have normally sympathized with you on the anti-genocide cause didn't.
January 13, 2026 at 2:27 AM
You're again putting words in my mouth making your argument invalid. I'm solidly anti-war. It's anti-semitic to harass Jewish people that have nothing to do with Israel. That is my statement. Whether that be students or professors.
January 13, 2026 at 2:25 AM
Then shut your whataboutisms because they're not helping your case. I literally stated directly I condemned both. You went on and on like I didn't.
January 13, 2026 at 2:20 AM
If human standards means to be anti-semitic then I'd rather not meet what you consider to be human standards. I can criticize genocide and anti-semitism at the same time. They're not exclusive.
January 13, 2026 at 2:18 AM
All I'm asking is for the bare minimum. Condemn anti-semitism. You won't do that. Why?
January 13, 2026 at 2:16 AM
I find it strange that you're liking your own comments as this conversation goes on. I also find it very strange that you can't condemn anti-semitism.
January 13, 2026 at 2:16 AM
I disavow extremism on all ends. I've already stated Israel should have been condemned. That and your movement are two different things. Why can't you admit harassing Jewish students was wrong?
January 13, 2026 at 2:15 AM
I refuse to let the left equivalent of the right's Great Replacement Theory into the main democratic party. There's absolutely no need to make the same mistake MAGA did in not condemning racist/anti-semitic ideological ideas when they appear. Y'all weren't an anti-genocide movement.
January 13, 2026 at 2:13 AM
We didn't need blue maga. Already enough racism and anti-semitic behavior as is. Supporting your movement considering how violent it was towards innocent people at that mind you would have led to a far more disastrous defeat. Just being associated with you led to massive reputation damage.
January 13, 2026 at 2:08 AM
I never stated I didn't think Israel shouldn't be condemned for the atrocities. However, I watched the same movement refuse to condemn blatant anti-semitic behavior against innocent Jewish students. That's why you guys didn't get sympathy and were sidelined. Extremism generally leads to sidelining.
January 13, 2026 at 2:02 AM
I think violence and genocide should be condemned no matter the party, movement, race or country doing it. Seeing Jewish students(nothing to even do with Israel itself) being harassed and attacked left me little want/need to be associated with the movement. It was no different than MAGA.
January 13, 2026 at 1:56 AM
Opposing genocide is totally different from purity tests and you know exactly what I mean by that. There's absolutely nothing wrong with asking congress and senate to condemn the atrocities that happened. That being said I watched Jewish students be attacked and those people should be condemned.
January 13, 2026 at 1:51 AM
Nah we don't even need to be under a brutal authoritarian rule to burn U.S cities, that's just a typical protest.

There is so much honest coverage of real news as we live it.

There is no need to spread BS.

It is more effective to share the truth and keep credibility.

I am angry too. I am angry at the same people you are.

Telling the truth about the things they say and do is the best way to win the public.

This is also considering the U.S and Russia don't actually conflict really without European involvement. Meaning Russia will most likely take pieces of the pie(land from Europe) while the U.S and Europe are at war. The U.S's main adversary without Europe is China.
January 13, 2026 at 1:18 AM
I do want to make it clear, I do not support the invasion of any sovereign nation which includes Greenland. However, Europeans are really underestimating their reliance on U.S technology for all their advanced aircraft, navy, etc if they think they can defend against a U.S attack.
January 13, 2026 at 1:12 AM
You know sometimes I get into debates and forget I'm supposed to be debating against war. Then someone comes along and derails the whole topic. Europeans are awesome people, your leadership however has made it impossible to fight the U.S at least until the next decade. I'm sorry, tis how it is.
