Please share. Akram has been desperate to get any assistance to rebuild his family's home. Not as a vanity project; they have nowhere else to sleep. And now his mom has emergency medical needs. Won't someone listen?

Give / find their link here.

5 hours left, please share ⚠️ Rather than gloat about how correct we are in our analysis about the ceasefire, can we refocus on keeping Palestinians alive? Help six families in Gaza with urgent:

- Food
- Shelter / tents
- Winter items
- Newborn supplies
- Transport back north

I know there was a lot going on in American politics today, but I wanted to take a moment to highlight how much I admire the work that Greta Thunberg and the Freedom Flotilla are doing.

They're sailing an aid ship across the Mediterranean to Gaza right now, despite lacking Israeli permission.

The Guardian has an 'explainer' about the India-Pakistan conflict that manages to avoid stating that the border between the countries was originally drawn by an Englishman who had never been to India and signed off on in a hurry by Lord Mountbatten because he had to get back to Britain for a party.

Logic of my uni:
Will stop paying me when I hand in my PhD thesis, then block me from doing the temporary full-time job I found - until viva, corrections, and getting the degree in hand.
Brilliant.

Next up is @riobanerjee.bsky.social talking about oddball planet L98-59d - a possibly rocky world orbiting an M dwarf. Transit spectroscopy observations with JWST reveal hints of sulphur species SO2 and H2S in the atmosphere, indicating potential volcanic activity on a possible exo-Io. #ukexom25

8 hours left on this 48-hr drive to get urgent funds for Mohamed & family.

Their situation was already catastrophic before 3/18 and now with displacement, we need to help with their hourly survival.

A $5 is amazing, I promise. And share.

Waited 9 hours in the emergency waiting room last night to get stitches yesterday. By then, the wound had formed scabs within. The doctor said it can't be stitched anymore, and glued it. Thanks NHS for the fun night out.
