One of my favorite buildings in the whole park. Standing up on the second floor watching the boats dock and hearing the sounds of the jungle is so relaxing. The most immersive space in Disneyland, imo

I haven't worked at Galactic Grill in two years but seeing this makes me emotional. Nearly 60 years of history! It was an honor to be a part of it.

I agree, JK being a terrible person shouldn't discount the amazing work done by all the artists who worked on the parks and movies. Without them, the franchise wouldn't be where it is. But for sure buying merch should be avoided lol

This feels like the encapsulation of my feelings about the Iger era...laziness.

Buying companies for new IP - lazy
Creating a streaming service because everyone else is - lazy
Building parks because others will fit the bill - lazy

Bob Iger is lazy.

Actually this picture is at the Arabian Coast in Tokyo Disneysea. That floor isn't present in the Morocco Pavillion

Totally agree with you there. While I can enjoy a whole day of just exploring, it's probably the weakest attraction lineup of the castle parks. I think DLP's Adventureland would benefit massively from the early combined Jungle Cruise/Indy concept from Disneyland (or of course something actually new)

Never been there myself but having just finished the series, I'm enamored by the park having the scale of the Magic Kingdom with the charming and intimate details of Disneyland. Vibes over anything else for me

What I like about this video is that it feels like Universal is taking *itself* seriously. The vibes, music, visuals & quotes are very mature, evolved, & grounded. They don't need to be the irreverent, immature oddballs anymore, and this video elevates UO beautifully. www.youtube.com/watch?v=cGI_...

The low (or tiered) roofline, curved beige wall and spire on the right makes me think it's the roof of a Tomorrowland building. But the pink floor tells me otherwise. Hmmm

I'm absolutely stumped on where this one is. Is it even a guest accessible area?

Today, I want to share one of my favorite weird niche theme park storytelling projects: my PARK PATHS art series. Here, I wanted to capture the "personalities" of the parks we love by looking at the negative space we often overlook – their pathways!

Park Paths: The Histories and Personalities of Disney & Universal Theme Parks As Seen from a New Perspective - Park Lore
“Here you leave today and enter the worlds of yesterday, tomorrow, and fantasy.” Since 1955, those words have welcomed guests into Disneyland, and their spirit pervades Disney theme parks across the…

I love Astro Orbitor a lot more than other Disneyland fans tend to but man it bums me out that I've never seen the planet revolving effect. The Chronos is incredible though, and I have no doubt Universal will keep it running smoothly

“Armchair Imagineering.” For Disney Parks fans, it’s a skill that’s learned early, and practiced often. Almost inescapably, theme park aficianados can’t help but to imagine what could be; what should…

The biggest of many heartfelt moments came at very end of the Richard Sherman tribute concert, when his son came out to thank everyone. He mentioned in Richard’s final year, he wrote an additional verse to “it’s a small world”. I just noticed those lyrics are written on the back of the program. 😭
