i mean, if it is on the internet, it's free
not to mention all the legitimate free digital stuff
that said, with the current trend of digital exhaustion from streaming, I would not bank on pedals going anywhere, even modelers are starting to wane in popularity (except with cover/church bands)

getting a decent amp/cab setup would do the thing and shake the walls
if dead set on pedals, Proco Rat and Boss, the initial cost seems high, but they will last a lifetime even with lots of abuse (the pic is my board for my anarcho dbeat band, goes into a jcm800)

shows like I played tonight are such a mixed bag for me
it was absolutely stellar, lots of attendees and we made a good amount of money (mostly from merch) and got a lot of people stoked about us but I also know that this is also the exception and not the rule
oh well, high highs and low lows

as a US citizen, I wish I could convey just how much worse it is than it looks from outside (and I know it looks horrendous), from political ambitions to personal moral compasses, it is just a bleak and hateful nation that deserves all the bad things
