Dante Alighieri “fun” fact: he was actually a battlefield veteran.
Long before he wrote the Inferno, he was a "feditore" (a front-line cavalryman) at the Battle of Campaldino in 1289. He was a warrior-poet who risked his life for his city (Florence) that exiled him under threats of being beheaded.

The Antikythera Mechanism is a 2,000-year-old bronze Greek device. It’s considered the world's first known analog computer and it was used to predict astronomical positions.
It was discovered in a shipwreck near Antikythera in 1901 and it featured over 30 interlocking gears.

Did you know that ancient Greek statues and Temples were brightly painted, and not plain white marble as they appear today?

« Nature never hurries, yet everything is accomplished.
The patient drift of clouds across endless sky,
and the silent turning of seasons,
she teaches us the art of simply becoming. »

Nature does not speak, it simply is. Photos by me.

The first image of a black hole was made by the Event Horizon Telescope (EHT) in 2019. By synchronizing radio telescopes all around the world, a sort of Earth-sized observatory, the EHT was able to capture the black hole in the of the Messier 87 galaxy (55 million light-years).

How ancient people celebrated New Year’s Eve?
Babylonians did it 4,000 years ago with the Akitu festival under the Ishtar Gate, symbolising renewal and fertility. In Egypt pharaohs offered artifacts to gods for prosperity through the Nile river. Calendar was different but traditions remain.

Other pictures taken in museum Pezzoli, Milan, Italy. It was originally the private house of Gian Giacomo Poldi Pezzoli, a 19th-century collector, and that’s why the rooms are so lavish and atmospheric.

London fun fact:
Did you know that the London Bridge was about to fall down, so its parts were sold to American entrepreneur Robert McCulloch for $2.46 million.
It was rebuilt in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. The new London Bridge that stands in its place on the Thames was completed in 1973.

For a good world-building you need to start from reality. I’m currently studying old cities of Siena and Perugia to build a more realistic city in my fantasy world.

We must respect Nature and Animals. This planet is their home too, and many species helped humanity to thrive since ancient times.

The Winged Victory of Samothrace, or the Niké of Samothrace is my favourite statue. It was discovered on the island of Samothrace in the northeastern Aegean Sea. It is a Greek sculpture from the Hellenistic era, dating back to the 2nd century BC. The statue alone, measures 2.75 metres (9 ft 0).

I loved visiting the Alhambra, a palace and fortress located in Granada, Spain. One of the best-preserved palaces of the Islamic world. Geometric patterns, vegetal motifs, and inscriptions were the main types of decorations. Additionally, "stalactite"-like sculpting was used for ceilings.

Tasteless bitterness of lazy times,
alienates and chains with silent rhymes
both the affluent and the lively soul,
yet the hidden cause, shan’t easily unroll.

The wall before me, might it be
a filter so tight, a reality thief,
severing me from the light realm, unseen.

Göbekli Tepe blows my mind, it predates human history. Built ~7000 years before the Egyptian pyramids. It has 20 feet T-pillars carved with animals.
It's located in Turkey, old "Fertile Crescent". I suggest you to make some research about this and other sites in the region.

My Bluesky is like living in a little village where you acknowledge the same 10 people every day

My Twitter was like living in the red light district of a dystopian hell hole

One of my favorite passages from "The Adventures of Tom Bombadil" by J.R.R. Tolkien.

But one day Tom, he went and caught the River-daughter,
in green gown, flowing hair, sitting in the rushes,
singing old water-songs to birds upon the bushes.

Try this: W. Wordsworth’s ‘recollection in tranquillity’ principle.

When you experience writer’s block go for a hike in the nature.
Then come back home, sit peacefully, and observe your writing becoming an unstoppable river.
It worked for him and for me, it will for you too.
