For the first time in over 30 years in America, my wife got told to go back to her country. Her offense? Calling out some self-righteous woman for having her dog off leash and charging at my dog (the boy in the tux). Is America great yet?

Also, I’m lifting again after a million years off. I’m using bodybuilding techniques. But also 20 minutes on the exercise bike 5 minutes after I get up. Gonna lose the belly and bulk up. Probably won’t try to get big enough to compete. I just want to be fit physically and mentally as I get older.

Before Led Zeppelin, I marathoned Chicago’s studio albums. My assessment. The Terry Kath era was outstanding, as was Hot Streets. 13-16 were their REO Speedwagon era, 17 was Cetera’s peak and an aberration it’s so good. 18-21 was the Prince era. Night and Day is excellent. Later stuff, meh.
