For Trump’s second term, Vought’s Center for Renewing America created plans that included invoking the Insurrection Act to deploy troops to U.S. cities to put down protestors and freezing billions in federal funds without congressional approval.

Changes to Florida’s ADAP could mean as many as 16,000 people with HIV will no longer quality. Officials have not yet stated a plan for transitioning people on Biktarvy to generic drugs—nor which generics will be used.
Starting March 1, Florida’s AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP) will tighten its income eligibility requirements and no longer cover the HIV drug Biktarvy.

Justice is not inevitable; it has to be fought for. It is only possible when people show up, speak out and protect one another.
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., warned that silence in the face of injustice is a choice. The fight against HIV is inseparable from the fight for civil rights—ending stigma, expanding access to care and ensuring that people with HIV are treated with humanity.
