I lived through the 92 riots. This is nothing like that. LA was burning, people were being assaulted, Korean businesses were destroyed. It was mayhem. Mpls is protesters chanting and blowing whistles and some civil disobedience. No way do we this.

I think it’s important to point out: ICE does NOT have the same authority as a police officer. They do NOT have the power to enforce laws, only to engage in their specific tasks.

It's time to state clearly that if MAGA and Republicans can't condemn any part of this shooting, continue to blame the victim for it, and even hint that it's a just outcome that others "deserve," that's a crossing of the line that the rest of us won't ever be able to forget.
