Work in politics for a Labour MP.

Former MPs who then go on to work for lobbying firms should be banned from holding a parliamentary pass.

I don't care whether they want a haircut or a "cuppa with old colleagues."

It's not as if I have a pass from any of my old workplaces still.

@spotlightcorruption.org right to call this out.
Ex-MPs working for lobbyists use privileged access to parliament
A number of former politicians who are now paid to help influence policymakers have visited the parliamentary estate, but deny doing so for lobbying

Latest episode of The Chair Company and it keeps getting better. Hilarious but also deeply unsettling TV.

The Chair Company leaning into the unsettling Twin Peaks feel while still being hysterically funny.

If you haven't watched it yet. Best thing on TV for a while.

Steve Reed certainly should be looking at asylum accommodation contracts break clauses.

Private firms awarded Home Office contracts to house asylum seekers & making significant profits in the process are unaccountable, opaque and unwilling to meet elected members.

This urgently needs to change.

Chair Company episode 2 - again pure genius.

Best way to describe it is like a slapstick Twin Peaks. Tim Robinson is one on his own.

I signed this letter.

This isn't about party politics but about my constituents.

Only last week Japanese manufacturer Astemo confirmed £100 million of investment into new highly-skilled jobs for the electric vehicle supply chain right here in Horwich.

Reform would rip that up. Irresponsible.
