1/ Trying to work out my thoughts on this one, so it might be a long thread. I'm not a psychiatrist, but this has the feel of a narcissistic abuser feeling neglected by perceived enemies and needing something to prove he is superior in every way.

Both Trump & Musk are dangerous idiots. As a retired ATC, I can tell you DEI has/had nothing to do with the quality of controllers & the vast majority of us retired folks would never consider going back under the current working conditions. 1/3
also trump ended the faa program to recruit minorities into career positions like air traffic controllers, because they would rather planes crash than give a black man or woman a job
Air traffic controllers are required by law to retire at 56. It is a high-stress, high-intensity job that requires intense focus. The retirement rules are there to keep us all safe. This fucking guy has no clue what's he's doing.

I’d recommend everyone regardless of medical risk bring a mask on your airplane journey, a disinfectant wipe to clean the seat you’re in and hand sanitizer.
It’s going to be on you alone to protect your health.
