Got mine yesterday! And if I manage to eventually stop myself running around my garden, frantically waving it above my head whilst shouting, "All books are self-help books!", I might even get around to actually listening to it.

Music’s wild, it’s like ‘I’m gonna chant rhythmically about the worst thing that ever happened to me and you can half-listen to it in a dentist waiting room in twenty years.’

We lived in a pub when I was growing up and when I was 3 (50 years ago!) we had someone in to draw the pub for a business card. I sat next to him and watched him draw every line. I was transfixed and it was a huge inspiration for me. I’ve dreamt about owning that drawing for years…

Hope to see you there.

Non Canon is a righteous dude whose albums you should buy and gigs you should attend.

Don't believe me? Then let me present Exhibit A: A man rocking the only funny tee that Placebo ever made.

In hot pink.

The defense rests.
Talking sincerely to a camera is not
in my comfort zone, but I gave it a whirl.

If you know people in these places who enjoy heartfelt, lyric-forward sadboy acoustica, pass it on.

If you’re in these places, come hang out. We’ll have (sad) fun.

Black Sabbath and their mates just raised a little shy of $200m for Parkinson’s and children’s hospitals with their gig.

That big goofy soft heart at the middle of all the panto aggro. So much nicer than the dull shopping centre punch-up masculinity of mainstream bloke rock.
