Yip, most of English/Scottish media were pro fascist, not just Daily Mail. Express had a reporter permanently embedded with Hitler during his 1932 election campaign. Italian fascists were paraded in magazines as fashion icons.

This reminds me of something else I read in archives, during 1930s English police forces actively recruited thousands of BUF members. So bad, it made papers on a few occasions, Manchester and Liverpool police got caught recruiting hundreds of them. Which is why fascist marches were well protected.

ALL the fascist movements protected & revered their monarchies. George V was first king to go to Italy & praise Mussolini. Crown, Tories & their media turned him into a hero in England during 1920s. Why? The only common enemy of all the fascist regimes was Socialists, which they feared after Russia.

We’re still dealing with the fallout from that disastrous day nearly a decade later. Kremlin influence in Farage’s parties need to be properly investigated.
