I’m currently being haunted by the spirit of Betty Boo (Doin’ the Do) - she randomly popped up in conversation last week and ever since she’s followed me… charity shops, on the radio. Here’s my prediction for a place on CBB next year.

Fucking gutted to hear about Pauline Collins. Shirley Valentine is a life affirming performance that stole my heart and so many others. Go watch that film and let it change your life.

Not necessarily saying it was any good, but ‘Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere’ is the most I’ve thought about a film in ages. So much mishandled but lots of interesting moments. Amazed that I can’t stop thinking about it.
