New Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper will lose all authority in position if she does not sack Mandelson herself.
Mandelson needs to step down.

We can’t have an ambassador to the USA who is even obliquely linked to Epstein.
September 9, 2025 at 12:48 PM
Mandelson now toxic and ridiculous to most US voters. Position untenable, never mind being unfit to represent King and country. Starmer was warned to do full investigation of Mandelson's links with Epstein (and more importantly Putin and Chinese Communist regimes). Obviously, never happened.
Sky News reports on Peter Mandelsons friendship with Jeffrey Epstein (Mandelson even stayed at Epsteins townhouse in Manhattan while the financier was in prison for soliciting prostitution from a minor)

A reminder that Keir Starmer appointed Mandelson our ambassador to the US.

In irony-insult-invective-and-maybe-inspiration.ghost.io seek especially to solicit US and UK protest against Dotard Trump's impending state visit to Britain. Gratuitous appeasement which betrays all of Trump's victims and all the principled Americans resisting him often at great personal risk.

Putin and entourage may be immune from arrest there under International Law but not under state laws. Watch them all constantly and pounce on any conceivable offence, including throwing a sandwich. Refuse Putin bail as a flight suspect.

And they have probably persuaded Trump that he will get an ocean-front lot in the city.
This Moscow Times article from April of this year (and video from years back) feels worth keeping in mind today.

Simple question: many British firms trying to break into American market could use boost from visit by their Prime Minister. Why does Starmer use his limited time in US on parade for an American firm seeking more taxpayer money from the British public sector? What benefit to UK?

How many books in the Trump Presidential Library have already been colored in crayons?
This is so clearly corrupt.

Also note it is coming from a news source that doesn’t prostrate itself for access.

FWIW, we are now @wired.com subscribers.
NEW: President Trump is hosting group and 1-1 dinners at Mar-a-Lago for $1M and $5M per seat, respectively. The've already become a "hot ticket" for business leaders.

Where's the money going? Unclear, though one source said it would fund Trump's presidential library.

Farewell to X, just published. "Probably my last post if it gets through as a test. I think the owner of this platform is an egomaniac, an abuser of power and an enemy of democracy and the Western world. Thank you to any followers, but I am about to become an exXer. All future posts on BlueSky"

I know as an exXer this is meant to be a kinder, gentler medium but IMHO P Mandelson is a calamitous choice of ambassador to US. A very conceited person with a great deal to be modest about. Whether or not Trump makes America great again, it will not take long for Mandelson to grate on America.
