I've a colleague on Teams who has been on the three dots now, for 10 minutes.
How long do I wait?
I want to stop work, but either they're typing war & peace, or they died on their keyboard...

I've experienced a few people writing like this on social media.....They have a row of five full stops at the end of every sentence.....Does anyone know why.....Is it a keyboard feature,,,,,or some new way to add emphasis..... or is it from AI.....Anyone got a clue what's going on?????

Son has been selling his 3D printed planes for a week now.
Now he is planning to sell these. The turrets rotate!
The planes were £1. What do you think he should ask for the Battleship?

I work in an office full of doctors and professors, some of the brightest minds in the UK – yet nobody can set the coffee machine to BST. It’s been an hour behind all summer… but no one cares. The clocks go back in less than a month anyway.

My son will be selling these 3D printed planes tomorrow at his school. His idea. He picked out the designs, the colours and has used my 3D printer (under supervision). £1 each. Wish him luck.

So lucky to acquire this fire bar from the loco Sir Nigel Gresley at the Greatest Gathering. bottle cap for scale. I love it, but... I can’t for the life of me think what to do with it. Thinking of making it into a garden ornament, but suggestions are welcome…

But also recognise that the data alone won't sway most minds. Stories too matter, and are richly available: eastangliabylines.co.uk/immigration/...

The UK’s problems aren’t caused by immigration
It’s not hard to see how so many came to worry about the issue. But the data isn’t there

Reform UK: The clue’s in the name, isn’t it? They've clearly declared their intentions.
If you're set on 'reforming,' what do you do once it's done? You can't be the party of eternal reform.
Maybe they should change their name to 'Divide UK.' Guess their goal isn't to lead, just to stir the pot.

They're fake. Just an AI image. Not 3D printed.
While everyone’s gawping at the tech, real-world 3D printing still holds its ground. Creativity & craftsmanship matter too. Hope remains for makers everywhere 👀🎨

I took this photo at the WWII commemoration parade in London a few months ago: a reminder that people of all nations stood together to defeat fascism. Flags should symbolise unity, not hate. Ignore the far-right noise: the UK’s true strength is in diversity and respect for all. All are welcome here.

For anyone worried about the March in London today, it is not huge. Smaller than the March against Russian invasion of Ukraine. Smaller than when George W Bush came for his first visit. 1/8th the size of the last march for Palestine. Very small.
