If contracts and other considerations allow, I hope FanDuel and the Angels do away with their carousel of play-by-play announcers and select ONE! A pool of game announcers is weak. Pick one, make it Patrick O’Neal. He’d be my favorite pbp since Al Conin.

Jeffrey Rosen introduced me to the phrase “deep listening to music” and I am grateful. I encourage one make that a regular practice, and I’d say there’s no better place to start than by listening to Elgar’s Enigma Variations. Sublime.

Trump posts AI video, shows him dump crap on Americans; Spkr Johnson defends it, calls the events that prompted it hate America rallies; Kansas Young Republicans, defended by VP Vance, exposed for racist, hateful, violent chat msgs.
A fitting adjective for such actions and language is "deplorable".

Oops, it’s 11 consecutive seasons missing the playoffs. 10 consecutive losing.
Another losing season for the LA Angels, no surprises there.
Love the team, not the org. 11 consecutive losing seasons!?! If they could, MLB should put the Angels organization under a Consent Agreement, provide the needed oversight to correct their systemic failure.

Hahaha, yes! Or at least fewer guests who judge rather than appreciate a normal, comfortable, well-lived, project filled home.
To reduce your stress, keep you home company ready at all times. Do a bit every day. Throw away most of your stuff. Sit in an empty, clean home.

Me: OR, put whatever you want in your home, work on whatever projects you enjoy. Don’t worry about a model home. And invite fewer guests.

And that's the charitable take on things.

Exactly right, expresses what I would have wanted to say if I had the skills to do so. This act of violence is a set back to the cause of combating Xian nationalism and defending our democratic republic. I share HBF’s outrage toward the murderer.
Whoever did this has not just killed a human being, the father of young kids, they have set back the cause of combatting Xian nationalism & defending Am democracy.
Among other things, this repugnant, absolute moron has written a new chapter in Xian nat narrative of victimization and persecution.
