Starmer is correct, the death penalty never worked when we had it for hundreds of years. In fact crime was rampant. Crime fell post war and continues to do so - once people became wealthier & more secure. but people like Lowe will not contribute in that way. www.independent.co.uk/tv/news/star...

Middle Class Guardian writers really are full of shit. I was expecting drug fuelled South American prison but no it’s a naked forest retreat and it sounds like she’s never seen a naked body before. I’ve never laughed so match in my life. Did Chris Morris write this?

I write on Substack simply because it is a place to put my inner monologue, it makes my head quieter. I don’t seek followers as I didn’t think I have anything worth reading but I do cross post them sometimes as one never knows. Strikes me about 75% of the notes there are about how to gain followers.

They need to put TV/Media ppl in at the BBC and the government needs to re brief it and remove it from political interference while funding it well for news (double WS funding) and education/culture.

One of my fav paintings - IKB 43. It’s an immersive experience. & he meant the intense, vibrating color to feel dimensionless, drawing you out of reality and into an “immaterial dimension”. He described it as moving from “nothing, then… a profound nothingness, after that a blue profundity” #art

Totally agree with Sean. I’ve always had an aversion 2 critics. Mention the phrase I get image of pale white teens dressed in black in teenage bedrooms masturbating to the feyness of TheSmiths. Trying to be seen & profound yet never contributing to the art form itself. Disengaged cultural onanism,
