I originally designed Meta & Nilla in 2004! That means 2024 marks 20 years of these two dorks! I dunno the exact date I created either of them, but Meta was designed first, probably two or three months before Nilla was. I gotta try to draw 'em a bunch before the year ends!

Maybe this is a weird example because they're not supposed to look like opossums, they're just supposed to look like the letter "G," but I was going to suggest a hairstyle similar to the Gavins', to kind of evoke that very distinctive tail

I do not like the "where are you sitting on this flight" meme because I'm sitting wherever the seat I paid for is, I did not get to see pictures of the people who would be sitting next to me when I bought the seat

I think it's great! The flowing hair is really dynamic and visually interesting, the shimmering scales are really pretty and Starling's expression is really cute

some ways I've done it (a long time ago): I gave this Kappa-inspired character a swim cap and poofy hair to make her look like she has a "bald spot", a beak-like nose and tortoise-shell patterns
and this shark-inspired guy' hair and beard meant to look like his face is inside a shark's open mouth

Not to put too fine of a point on it, the man who designed Vac Woman (design K) was outted as a rapist and overall vile person about 10 years ago, yet he somehow managed to come out of it relatively unscathed as a successful artist.

I checked out that Banjo Recomp and while I was at it I checked out Ocarina and Majora too
and it's funny because I was like "This is neat, but I've played Banjo & Majora with free camera, higher FPS and minor QoL features before, on the 360 and 3DS. But ooooh, Ocarina at 60fps with free camera? 😍"

I give them a lot of credit. They said back then that maybe they’d implement it in the next one, and I always worried it was just mealy-mouthed BS to placate people who were upset. But they put their money where their mouth is, at a time when ever fewer companies than usual are willing to do that

I think what playing Air Riders has taught me, though, is that what I actually want is a brand new game that plays exactly like StarFox Assault multiplayer only it has more simultaneous players and actually well-optimized online

They're all Majin Buu. Majin means "magic person" or "demon person". He's a weird alien monster that absorbs and combines himself with people, and all the different forms are based on who he has absorbed at the moment. The fan names for each form have mostly been adopted as official.
