Did not post for a long time, have been busy mostly working on gameplay.
So here is a small update on the lighted scene, but it will still be filled with more gameplay content.

Also those are wind-waker lights using Stencil Buffer.

Current progress of one Level I am working on.
Missing Lighting, but I like the overall look of it.

I started working on the Art to evaluate the Art Style aswell as the performance of it. Aiming for a Zelda Wind Waker style.

Just today started working on a more physics related puzzle, and my implementation did not account for physics much yet.
So now, if you grab an object, it properly collides and stops with objects and can push objects.

I started working on the first game mechanics after setting up all the systems.
A candle can ignite other candles and if you walk too fast, the candle will turn off.

With the Developer Menu I implemented most of the base features needed to work on the game, so next up is making the game itself!

With this Menu attached to the Hand I can display the Log, filter it, or show the Performance.

Two new things.
One, I added a button that can be physically pressed.
Second I added Sockets or Slots, where objects can be attached to.

Zero code change - Doors, Lever and Cranks work the same, hence they are also already supported!

My door mechanic is working, so now you can open them with your hands easily!

Made a drawer with #godot for my VR project.
This is already working over network and can easily be tested without VR as seen here.
Yes, physics are not properly working, but thats fine tuning. :D

Making good progress.
You can grab objects with one or two hands.
Hand is animated to do things like a thumbs up or pointing at something.
And everything is replicated and fully working in a networked scenario.

With the @tool function, you can have your gdscript run in editor. With this I added my hands, which are fully functional hands.
This has the benefit that I can also add the animations to it, like they would work with the player hands.

After finishing up the Session Browser, next thing I did in Godot is adding hands.

Thanks to the light() function, having cel-shaded hands is extremely easy and straight forward!

My newest discovery in Godot: Themes!

By using different theme files, you can easily change the look of your UI and even of the Editor!

A feature I especially love about Godot is the flexible to run multiple instances. With Unreal, you had zero or only a small control of who is host/client and who is running XR or not.

With Godot, you can add commandline args, allowing you to fully control everything.

Trying to be more active in posting here regularly just for the fun of it!
First up: I'm currently checking out Godot for VR. So far, I'm having a blast compared to Unreal. It's easy to use, performant, and the community has been incredibly helpful.
