And one final thought: Ozzy going out after giving an emotional final performance that raised a ton of money for charity is more spiritually uplifting and did more genuine good than anything any televangelist and religious grifter who railed against him ever did combined.

Jesus told us who will inherit God’s kingdom:
I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’

Someone needs to be reporting on this and pointing to Republicans with blood one their hands. They will have to answer to it someday.

During his inaugural address in 1937, President FDR expounded on the political philosophy of our country. “The test of our progress is not whether we add more to the abundance of those who have much; it is whether we provide enough for those who have too little.”
I guess we’re done with that. 😢

One party is willing to try to overthrow the government to be in power.

The other party will worry about whether they’re being nice to them as they do it.

Thought this was apt today

“To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public.”

Wow powerful

“We were at war with a dictator,” said French center-right politician Claude Malhuret of Europe’s stand against Putin. “[N]ow we are at war with a dictator backed by a traitor.”

Thomas Paine in The American Crisis: “There are persons, too, who see not the full extent of the evil which threatens them; they solace themselves with hopes that the enemy, if he succeed, will be merciful. It is the madness of folly, to expect mercy from those who have refused to do justice.”
