Very proud mum of 3 sons, recently widowed. Retired C of E priest but still very active. Ex Chair of Coventry Diocesan Board of Education. Avid reader, love my dogs and cats, folk music, arts and theatre.
As a retired clergy person it was so lovely to preside at Midnight Mass and good to rejoin #clergymaltclub.
Happy Christmas one and all

A very special Christmas moment : my mother's brother Jack Clegg was killed in action in the final weeks of WW2 & is buried in Venray, Netherlands. On Christmas Eve the kind people of the Stichting Adoptiegraven CWGC Venray War Cemetery recall lives lost & at rest in Dutch soil.

People are like "gays don't belong in the church" but I'm just saying... the church has assigned every single day of the year a colour, and the priests are supposed to dress to match it, and you're telling me that STRAIGHT PEOPLE came up with that???

What wonderful news, an amazing appointment. We need more Bishops like Mary. God’s love and inclusivity of all people shines through her ministry.

Today (20 November) is Trangender Day of Remembrance: a day to acknowledge the lives of trans people lost to violence and suicide in the past year. Negative press, transphobia and ignorance are driving despair.
