This is a lovely record. Celtic Folkweave from 1974, reissued in 2022. Fans of Jansch/Renbourne will like this - Celtic language traditional folk with a Pentangle cover for good measure. Really nice arrangements. #folk #vinyl #xp

I’m early into cleaning what I call my Classic Rock shelf and just finished this one and giving it a spin. Bad Company from 1976 on Island Records. Great stuff. Another one that benefits from being played loud. #vinyl #xp

Actually really enjoying this Boston LP. Don’t know how I acquired it but I’d never played it until today. A bit like a poor man’s Queen but that’s no bad thing really. It does sound good played LOUD! #vinyl #xp

The original ‘Help’ album is *so* good, it was a constant soundtrack to a memorable holiday in 1995 and still gets regular spins in Revival Towers. Looks like the new one is going to follow suit. #help #WarChild

Calling it a day. I *think* I’m about half way through the whole collection but it seems like a long way to go. Anyway, final one for this afternoon. These were, apparently, released to accompany a UK TV show. I only have this one and probably got it as it has The Who on it.

OK, last one. This, I believe, is an underated Jam album. It’s never talked about as being one of their best, but contextually I think it marks the transition between youthful enthusiasm to mature song writing. Weller comes into his own here, and never looks back. #TheJam #CassetteTapes #CasSunday

Starting with a cover of ‘Piggies’ that I’d never heard before by Theo Bikel. Far from being one of my favourite Beatles tracks, this version is at least as good I’d say. Might need a few goes through the cleaner - a fair amount of background hum.
