Unedited preview of my friend Razmus in my lace puzzle dress. Men in lace and men in dresses are a few of my favourite topics to discuss. My fascination goes beyond the societal emotions that these combinations seem to stir - deep down to the root causes of these strong feelings!

The details! I never came this close to a 17th century gold embroidery before. To be able to touch (with gloves of course) and rest my eyes on this caparison was such a treat. Can’t wait to dive deeper into the handicraft of the artisans of the past. #Skoklostercastle

What a way to start the weekend! A special visit to the baroque castle Skokloster outside visiting hours. The feeling of walking in solitude in the cold hallways surrounded by portraits, tapestries and architecture of the blossoming kind - almost untouched since the 17th century. Magnificent 💫

I visited one of the towers at Uppsala Cathedral, Sweden, where you can find the only complete #renaissance outfits in the world: The Sture Costumes. Svante Sture (1517) & his sons Nils (1543) & Erik (1546) were murdered by King Erik XIV & his posse at Uppsala Castle on May 24,1567 wearing this.
