One of my companies informed me they cancelled a $2m conference in Florida. Why ?

They didn’t feel they could pass on the incremental cost of tariffs. So they are cutting expenses.

That’s a city that lost a ton of tourism revenue.

Their meritocracy did not believe in supporting me. I was an academically gifted kid who was free and reduced lunch qualified because my parents were religious workers. I would not have a bachelors, masters, or PhD if it weren’t for federal financial aid. They do not think I deserved my education.
