1/4 For those of us who serve actual people, and not just social media constituents, the push for a Black woman to be president was not mere symbolism or acquiescence to the U.S. Empire. It was resistance to policies that will actually harm the people we serve.

Black people would benefit from flocking to Black churches that have a Black liberation theological framework. No time for bootlicking preachers in this day and age. We need a safe space to organize, make meaning and reenergize on a weekly basis. The real Black church is it.
