Being neurodivergent means knowing that if I acted the way *they* have in the family GC, *they* would have *me* committed to a behavioral health hospital. Imagine having a tantrum over my moms funeral, and you're literally only making meatballs for my grieving dad. Could never be me. 😅

Sorry but my empathy is not extended to military, beyond veterans. Active duty can catch these hands. I'm tired of watching people take their own lives over what they've done "for this country" so, I'm gonna be very direct.

Young people SHOULD “have it easier” than you did. I’m sorry you got the strap up hill both ways and paid your debts with pounds of flesh, but the reason we work for progress is to make growing up and growing old gentler, easier, kinder, freer. Struggle isn’t necessary in a healthy society.

Nothing more American than receiving a bill for an astronomical price, from the hospital where you just left your mother -forever- both due to the illness that brought you there in the first place. Sorry I didn't have time to do the paperwork, my mom was dying.
