Finished ∀ Gundam. Incredibly powerful and beautiful work. It's the perfect payoff to the themes and ideas Tomino has been tackling throughout Gundam and his entire career. I'm glad to have finally gotten to this after all this time.

It's interesting how Tomino always presents "Gundam" as being viewed in-universe as a sort of symbol, but *what* exactly its a symbol of changes by time and place. In CCA/BC, the Federation decommissions the Gundam's out of fear, viewing it as a symbol of Newtypes.

The fact that the digital shots in ∀ mostly have fake grain over them to match the film shots, but Bandai filtered out all the grain from the actual film shots in the BD remaster 😭

There's a Char's Counterattack torrent that I always see people post screenshots from that's super heavily filtered and looks terrible, and it hurts me every time I see it.

Finished Brain Powerd. It's a great show. The way the characters interact with and pilot the robots is super unique and interesting, and Nagano's designs are great, as always. I also really liked the stuff with the US military in the later part of the show.
