For the record, while it's not the most annoying portayal of Sonic, Shadow 05 Sonic is the most OOC Sonic's ever been. Iizuka had George W Bush's cock way too far down his throat when he was writing that shit.

Maybe this is a stealth hot take, because I can't think of any example of this that actually has a mostly positive reception, but I really, really like sequels that are just about the characters dealing with the aftermath and/or repercussions of the original story
