As I finish my first #Pluribus rewatch, I've started hoping that the original Zosia was queer... because otherwise it's kind of icky. Not that there aren't a lot of questions of consent with the joining. I just didn't think of that the first time through.

The Freedom Falls thing changed my entire perspective on Carol. Rhea Seehorn mentioned it in her post-win interview last night. It's absolutely central to who she is and how she reacts to everything, but not what the show is about. This is exactly how I want queer rep to be.

i have a lot of thoughts on the women who support pretty gay fictional tv characters and nope out when actual queer athletes exist (all. over. women's. sports.) probably because they don't watch or care about actual sports.
Again, I truly *loved* this week’s episode of Heated Rivalry, but IT IS A WISH FULFILLMENT ROMANCE. The success of a gay hockey romance TV show, largely watched by people who are neither hockey players nor hockey fans, is not “proof that the world is ready and all we would do is love you”
