FAMILY SOCIAL ACTIVITY 🧡🧡

In October half term, we partnered with Compass BMHST, who provided a wonderful activity for Restore families! The focus was improving well-being and mental health for young people! It was a lot of fun!

We signed this letter, along with proud Brummies who know that Brum wouldn’t be Brum without people from around the world.
But we’re worried our proud tradition of sanctuary is being undermined by divisive rhetoric and dangerous policy. 👇

Last week- we went with 17 women to the Birmingham Wildlife Conservation Park for one of our free women’s events!

Many different animals were spotted across the park & after walking around, we had time to practice English & enjoy some snacks together 🌿🌴💐🍁

Right now, across the world, there is more armed conflict than ever, since 1945. And when there is war, the risk of torture increases.

So today, and every other day, we will continue fighting with survivors for justice and for a world free from torture, where they can rebuild their lives in safety.

Something positive relating to asylum seekers in politics. Thank you to members of the House of Lords who were willing to go against the tide and stand up for those who have fled persecution and war.
Yesterday, Members of the House of Lords stood up for the right to work, thanks to the thousands of you who emailed them using our tool!

The exact plans this Government condemned when in opposition.
Is it groundhog day? In a desperate race to the bottom, the Government now want to warehouse people seeking safety in the UK on military and industrial sites. These are the exact plans this Government condemned when they were in opposition.

We're proud to join over 200 organisations to call on Party Leaders to end the divisive politics, racist rhetoric and demonising language of the past.

Only then will they bring unity instead of division and cohesion rather than hate.

Divisive politics, racist rhetoric and demonising language are letting hate spread.

Our leaders must stop fuelling racism and build a country where everyone, no matter where they're from, can feel safe.
