Is revision always necessary? Not for Jim Harrison:
"I wrote Legends of the Fall in nine days and when I re-read it, I only had to change one word. There was no revision process. None. I had thought so much about the character that writing the book was like taking dictation."

My first experience dealing with Amazon KDP has mostly been positive. I'm thankful for the unlimited edits. I've uploaded my manuscript several times, each time thinking it was the "final" version.
Weird that they allow pre-orders for the ebook, but no reviews before publication.
