In case you're wondering why ICE is busting down doors now.

I was in a League of Legends lobby and got matched with the same ADC as my previous match, where we lost really hard and ADC blamed me. He saw we got matched again and he wrote "im running it btw". I reported him for "hostage taking" and got this message. Best feature ever.

The United States has the fewest elevators in the rich world, with Canada only a bit ahead. We teamed up with @uytaelee.bsky.social of About Here Videos to investigate why, exactly, North America sucks at elevators.

This is *good* for Wikipedia. We WANT the content of Wikipedia to stay truely free and open without any condition, and AI products cost wiki a lot of money. Now they pay. Do they pay enough for the benefits they receive? Probably not, but this will help wiki stay sustainable

my favourite graph of 2026 so far, lmao
okay so here's a different graph that is interesting. if we look at negative sentiment posts by the age of the account, there is a significant uptick in negative sentiment posts coming from "elder" accounts. this chart here is looking at the past 3 days.

"And I never say no"

We need to have a serious talk about the way "AI companion" apps not only prey on the vulnerable, but are priming their users to ignore consent and to conflate love with control.

We need AI regulations across so many sectors, but this area is particularly horrifying.
