The Senate tonight confirmed Lt. Gen. Chris Donahue, who was involved in the Afghanistan withdrawal, to be promoted to four-star general and command Army Europe and Africa. Sen. Markwayne Mullin had placed a hold on his promotion before Thanksgiving and please to have dropped it.

Is ATACMS a long-range missile? One the one hand, Lockheed and western nations describe it that way. On the other, 300km is not that far when it comes to missiles.
In this video, I try to clarify whether ATACMS is a long-range missile. This label has given a wrong impression of the scale of assistance the West is providing to Ukraine, and it has allowed the Russians to claim a red line that actually doesn't make sense.
